After applying the fertilizer, water is absorbed through the coating into the granule, which dissolves the nutrients contained in it, and these begin to gradually release into the soil. The rate of release of nutrients depends on the temperature and humidity of the substrate: the warmer and wetter the soil - the more nutrients are released. This is suitable for the growth rate of plants - the warmer, the faster they grow and require more food.
