Mode of action

Herbicide in concentrate form for aqueous emulsion, foliar applied to dicotyledonous weed control.

Action on weeds
plantain lanceolate, common starlet, yarrow, dandelion, thistle, nettle, sorrel.

Use

Herbicide of selective systemic action, taken up by the leaves of weeds, to a lesser extent by the roots. After absorption, it is quickly transported to the meristematic tissues of the aerial part and roots. The agent penetrates inside the weeds within 1 hour at the latest. Rainfall after this time does not reduce its effectiveness. The first symptoms of the agent are stopping the growth of weeds, then their deformation leading to necrosis and dying. Symptoms of action on weeds are visible after 5-7 days in warm and humid weather / faster effect /, at lower temperatures (8 degrees C) complete destruction of weeds occurs after about 3-5 weeks.

Cool weather delays the action of the remedy, but will not reduce its effectiveness. In conditions of prolonged drought or frost, the effectiveness may decrease.

Annual weeds are sensitive from the 2-leaf phase to the beginning of the rosette phase

Perennial weeds sensitive from the phase of 6-8 leaves / rosette of leaves / to the phase of the beginning of shooting in shoots./early spring and during regrowth after mowing or grazing, have a small aboveground mass in relation to the roots, which may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.

If it is necessary to use meadows and pastures on which Fernando Forte 300 EC has been used for agricultural use, the cultivation of sensitive plants requires ensuring that the weed residues are completely decomposed. Residues of the agent from decaying weed tissues can have a negative effect on plants successively after green use. Particularly sensitive plants include legumes, carrots and other cultivated plants of the umbellate family, potato, tomato, lettuce and other cultivated plants of the Asteraceae family.

Do not grow sensitive plants in the autumn of the year in which the remedy was applied.

Prevention for humans / complete drying of the preparation on the surface of the plant / for animals - 7 days.
